I don't do a whole lot of ITH designs, but here is one I designed out of personal need........We got an invite to a baby shower from a nephew who is having his first child, they requested each person bring a book for this baby with something written in it for a keepsake. So, I wanted to do something that wouldn't be duplicated at the shower and came up with this.....I choose to use yarn to fasten them together as this is being mailed out of state, but I think you could use those nylon circle thingies to hook them together. I used a dog fleece material on the back of each page and used a paper punch to open the hole in the satin circles.....Their invitation had a zoo theme, which is why I went with the zoo animals......I have this up on my website as a set and the last page will have just "the end" on it, of course....BTW, this is Jif and Skip's behinds you are seeing on the first pic.....LOL! Also, I did have to look up the rhino to make sure I had the name spelled right! Also I used GA and GU to mean Great Aunt and Great Uncle as I didn't have room to spell it out....hope they know what we mean........

What a great little book! I'm sure it'll get lots of usage and be loved through the years. The fabric you used is a great "touchy" texture too. It is a very creative gift and your work will be appreciated!

Thanks, I was thinking about texture when I picked out the fabrics.....I have a ton of the prequilted fabric and thought this was a good time to use it and the family is a "dog" family so I picked the fleece with the dog on it.....

Vicky, it looks so cute, they'll love it.
And thanks for giving me the idea. I have to make something for my brother's granddaughter - we never do showers before the child is born.
For the older two I used the design on the announcement. The design on the current announcement is not suitable - I stitched it out but the shirt is now in the charity box.
A book would be great.
