What a lovely project to do, so thoughtful and kind. Our brother and sister in law were among the first in Redding to be evacuated. When the wind changed for the better, moving the fire away from their home they were allowed a few days ago to go back home. They were among the lucky ones.
These are horrible. I can't imagine watching your home in the rear view mirror while evacuating and knowing with almost certainty that you will never see it again. My heart is heavy for those fallen and their families. I'm glad your son is safe this tim
Bless your heart and all the folks affected by this disaster and others through out the midwest and west.
Thanks you for helping out those who need it. And hope everything gets soon under control.
I heard about a terrible fiery tornado too. Praying for the safety of all and that this tragedy comes to an end soon. We're still dealing with Harvey, but I'd rather put up with flooding than a wildfire. Thanks for thinking of others.
What a wonderful gift for those families...glad your son has not been deployed to any of the fires burning out of control in California...so sad that some have lost their lives and many their homes...fire shows little mercy and is always at the whim of the winds...
Thank you for doing this. These fires are awful. Thank your son for his willingness to be in this honored profession. My heart brakes for all those families having lost their home. A friend of mine does not know if they will have their home in Clearlake once the evacuation is over. Even though I am 2 hours drive away the cars in the neighborhood were covered with, what looked like pollen. Turns out it is ash.
Hugs
We have terrible air here too from the fires but I haven't seen ash yet. Burns my eyes, but I have a house that hasn't burned down so feeling thankful.
