UPDATE: we have windows in but of course no curtains! So we’re leaving the outside awnings down on the front 3 windows. In Trev’s TV room he’s hung up a blanket ‘cause we don’t have an awning on that window. I’ve got a man coming next Thursday to give us a quote on Plantation shutters or whatever will look good. It will be weeks before we get something covering the windows, but hey, we’ve waited a long time to do these renovations. Love Chris
1. Front lounge window with awning up
2. My room at night with awning down
3. Girls’ room
4. Trev’s TV room!!!
Are the windows going to stop the Kookaburra attacks ?
Love the quilt blocks.
I hope so Judy, the front 3 are not attacked by the Kookaburra. It's only my back sewing room and the side sliding door that he wants to attack. Love Chris
Love all the large windows - beautiful!!! Oh, and your quilt pieces are amazing!! Where ever did you find such a beautiful design?
Beautiful blocks. Windows are beautiful too.
Wow...really big windows! Can't help but notice...they don't open...love the new quilt squares...
They weren't in Kim, that's the holes where the original windows were taken out! We have windows now in place with sliding end windows with screens and locks. Love Chris
Major stuff up with the TV room - window was too wide for the hole. - so the boys have been cutting the framework so it will fit !!!!!!
Never mind hope it will look good when finished. Love Chris
Some one can't measure. Hope it works out in the end. Don't let them near your quilt to do any measuring and cutting. He He he
There's a carpenter saying that applies to quiltmakers, too: Measure twice, cut once. This quilt is going to be amazing, Chris.
