Just walked the long driveway to put the garbage out at almost dark. Coming back, I was using my pickup stick to chuck limbs and pine cones over into the woods. As I reached for one more pine cone, he jumped - a frog. Okay, no more putting garbage out at dark. I hope the frog learned his lesson, too.

It is funny how a sudden unexpected move can scare the daylight out of us. Glad it was only a frog.

Just be careful and watch for snakes. We rarely have one around our place and this year we have seen three, 2 non-poisonous and 1 we don't know, because Nora saw it.
