I once went to a trade show with my husband...and at then end the workers were tearing down all the booths and there were yards and yards of bright green satin fabric they were just throwing away. So I happily retrieved it and later made some great Halloween costumes and donated some to float building for a local parade. 30 years later I'll bet I could still find a yard or 3 of that stuff in the attic. I could never just pass by a good fabric deal....cheap or free!! Yay!!!!
You'll find a good use for that fabric some day.
I also taught crafts at our local senior center....my specialty was recycled crafts....with "Recycle Sally". Lots of fun and very little money involved.
Great find! I never find that kind of deal at my Walmart. Hugs. Nan
It is always fun finding deals like this! My luck is the fabric that is really cheap has such an homely design and nothing that I would use. Congratulations on your fine!
yes, sometimes we are blessed, and sometimes we (meaning me) have to much fabric will I ever use all the fabric I have?
Of course you did! I get it when it's this price whether I 'have' to have some or not!-lol
Do you have a photo of your treasures?
I cut a skirt from some of the creamy looking fabric and where it was folded was a line down the center of course it got cut in one of the panels so now I will use two of them (that have that line,) for the front and make it a button down the front if I cut it in the middle I can cut out the line and put a facing on for buttons which will take care of that line. (just did not notice it in the store or I would have said something)
