Attention all Corelle user's--it does eventually crack, chip or shatter. I've had a couple plates do that. I have been using my white with the blue and silver ring around trim since the 70's. I have my mother in laws set with yellow trim design and the setting for 4 I bought my mom in 20l4 and passed away in 2015 which is a red set. I don't care what I eat out of, as long as it is good food! My man doesn't even like foods I like so he gets sandwiches a lot or goes buys hamburgers and french fries--yea for him--I want meat--BQ;s baked, crock pot etc with all the good trimmings. I eat like a pig out since not much cooking and anything different around here. He would not let me spend a dime on new dishes since my cabinets are full.

I just picked up a stack of bowls while helping a friend move from her house. My experience was the bowls always go first. Lol!

I gave my son and his wife my old set of Corelle when we moved 7 years ago. The dishes were purchased in the 80's and are now serving the third generation!

Yes, they do break - lost another one just last week! Corelle and tile floors are not a good match!
