Wow! Glad she is feeling better. I can't find a pair of sneakers that I purchased over a year ago and now she is in that size. Lol! She may outgrow them before I find them. It is so frustrating.
I know what you mean Christine. I often buy on sale and ahead of the event. Then when it's time to give, I can't locate them. I just bought some books, with the stuffed animal to match, at Khols for Christmas for the little ones. I hope by Christmas I don't forget about them.....
Wow! What a day for you! I hope you don't get sick too. I hate being ill. It gets in the way of my life.
I understand about 'losing" things. I have a box of all my silk embroidery ribbons that I put in a safe place. it's been years that I have been looking for it. I actually bought a few more ribbons thinking that the instant I bought more, I'd fine the ones I have. Wrong.
Usually that is what happens, when you buy more, you find them. Well, you know you always have silk ribbon....SOMEWHERE!-lol
Little ones not feeling well is so hard. Bless you for taking care of her so Gus didn't get it. Praying you and your sweetie don't get it. I know what you mean about not being able to find things! I have a little "fairy" who helps me find things in my sewing room. Her name is Sophie and she is nine years old. All I have to do is tell her what I am looking for and usually within a few minutes, she has found it. (That is after I have spent an hour looking for it! LOL)
Wow! You've been busy! I know about hiding stuff from yourself. I had a little purse I took to Israel in JANUARY and it still had my passport in it. Couldn't find it ANYWHERE. Had decided I was getting senile and it must have gotten between some newspapers and gotten thrown out. Yesterday I was getting out some summer sandals in the bottom of my closet and the purse came sliding out between some of my clothes! Guess it had gotten unhooked from some coat hangers in there. Prayers answered!!
The bug is going around here also......last week the 2 yr old was throwing up and then turned to the diarrhea. It's hard with the little ones!! Now her brother has developed a bag cough, allergies or something else?!
I know what you mean about hiding something. I have a quilt that needs finished for this summer and I can't find my container with the fabrics and blocks. Keep in mind that last fall I got a new set up of Arrow cabinets and took everything out of room, reorganized and set back up. Well, I set it up all right!!!! I can't find my walking foot either! ugh
I know what you mean. Yesterday when I finished putting the snaps on I couldn't find my hole piercer. I just had it! I make a point to put it in a certain place. Well, I had laid it on top of my open snap drawer and it got shuffled in with the bags of snaps. I can misplace things very easily lately....
It is bad when the little ones are sick and you're right about the 'bug'. My son and DIL had it a week or so ago but they stayed away from all of us. Gus has problems of his own and we didn't want him to get it and maybe loose weight, so Nora stayed here.
Toogie, you amaze me with your energy...I'm embarrassed by my "get up and go"..it just won't get up!
Awesome1, mine got up and went. Toogie is like the little engine that could! I think I can, I think I can. Sorry to read about little Nora, and hope she didn't share her illness with anyone else.
I hope not either Betsey. You're both wrong about my energy. Instead of the little engine that could, I am thinking, "I don't think I can, I don't think I can, but I will".
Ooh! you poor thing, there's nothing nastier than a stomach/diarrhea virus. I also hope you and your husband don't come down with it. I think you need to rest a bit more Toogie, sounds like you are being overworked!!!!!!!!!!!! Love Chris
I can last a day and a night, but then I start feeling it. She really is no trouble except when she's sick. She is so good and she would call me, if I didn't hear her first. Just felt bad for her being sick and because she didn't want to cause me any trouble. She really is kindhearted.
Whew! Bless you! Hope you & hubby don't get the virus!
I hope we don't get the virus either. Our son and DIL just got over it and don't want it again. I didn't even know they had had a virus, until he phoned me about something. When I told him Nora was here with it, he told me he wouldn't come for a few days, to make sure me and dh didn't come down with it.
He phoned to say he had a friend whose mamma died a while back. He said the friend asked him if I would want some SCISSORS (some new still packaged) (Dennis are you smiling down on me) and other sewing notions. My son said he would pick them up and bring them over, as soon as he knew we weren't going to catch the bug. Yea!!!
