May the Lord send healing, love to you...

Claire I know the pain you are dealing with. Some yrs back I herniated both L-4 & 5. Have never had the surgery they wanted me to have and learned to rely on the back brace they put me in. It is a God send. Wore it all the time except nights for a couple of yrs or more. Now, only when I am doing work that I know will set my back to hurting and if I have to go on an extended drive. Heat also helps. Will be praying for you.

My heart goes out to you Claire. No pain like back pain. I pray that you can be relieved very soon. The Tens machine sounds like a good investment from the comments of the Cuties below. Love Chris

had the same- no pain quite like it( even childbirth)ended up having and operation which was magic- had other discs go since and also use a tens machine they are great- saw a report that the more expensive ones are really no better than the others-really hope you get some relief soon.

Yes , I had this condition many years ago and it is terrific. Hang in there. I spent many weeks in bed and i have no idea of the treatment today.

So sorry to hear this, Claire.....does it involve the sciatic nerve? I had a herniation between L4 and L5 years ago and I bought myself a portable Tens machine upon a recommendation by cutie shozo and it was a life saver......I use it all the time and it has kept me mobile.....I will pray that this passes quickly for you!!

I use one too Vicki. Bought an Aleve one at Walmart. Best $50 I ever spent!
