Hi Cuties, I was just wondering if anyone knows how Loralye (pldc) is? I know her Father was very ill last year and she hasn't posted anything on here since 22nd January last year.

I know there are a few of us 'oldies' missing in action on here, but it would be nice to know that she is o.k.
Could one of our American Cuties who knew her well find out if she is doing o.k? Love Chris

I also miss her post here on cute. Sending prayers that she does not have to have any more surgery. A big hug from down under if you see this post Loralye. Hugs Shirley

Thanks Toogie for staying in touch with Loralye. I always enjoyed seeing her projects she posted from her brain injury class. She is one classy lady. Please tell her she is missed. I wish I could walk with her. I could use the exercise. I sincerely hope and pray another surgery is never needed. She has already paid a heavy price.

Amen Karen.
I too, need the exercise. I keep saying I need to and I keep talking myself out of it by finding excuses.

Do it first thing in the morning Toogie, just get up out of bed and get your gear on and go for it. It's the best time of the day! Love Chris

Chris that's what I did when I worked. I told my kids when I got back from my bus route, don't call between 8 and 10 am.That's MY time. I would put a dvd on and walk on treadmill, until it was over. My dh said he could smell my treadmill overheat I guess.-lol- I lost about 40 pounds walking 6 miles a day, 6 days a week.
I just don't want to hurt my knee/leg as it bothers me sometimes. I know this weight doesn't help it either though.

Now I want encouragement, but I remember too how crepe-y my facial skin looked with weight loss. What do you fine ladies recommend for that?......another excuse? No, and you have months to research for me-lol

Spoke to her this morning. She hasn't changed. Still sewing/embroidering. Instead of her 10 mile a day, walk has increased 10-15 miles per day. You go girl!-Getting her heart and body in shape for any future surgery, although the 2nd brain tumor hasn't grown, thank you Lord. She misses Cuties too and glad to know we are still the caring group she has grown to love. Thank you Chris and she sends her love-Toogie

Thank you so much Toogie - wow that is impressive. I only walk in the morning from 5.30 till 6.00 and it's only 2 miles. I do pray that she continues to improve her health and thanks once again for keeping in touch with her. Love Chris

How extraordinary Chris, I was only thinking of Loralye today. I know that last year she wasn’t well. I hope that perhaps she sees your post with the lovely rose. Thank you Chris.

It has been a while since I spoke to her, but I know she is trying to get healthier. She has lost weight walking (Yea, best way!) and she has been trying to avoid stress, as much as one can in their life. I haven't heard lately from her though. You are so thoughtful and caring, Chris.

Sorry, Chris, I can't help you - I've been wondering about her, too. I do hope she's okay.
