No, she just didn't want her picture taken, so the mother is getting her to turn around she had hid her face in her mother's skirt.

70753114280Beautiful, I love this style heirloom. The pintucks do look like smocking in the picture but just as lovely. Been a long while since I've done my love of heirloom sewing. I think most children this age get shy when you don't want them to.
