I edited above, to show the food 'troughs' for feeding and watering the children-lol I think my daughter always does such great decorating , whether it is her home or a party. Doesn't get it from me!
What a cute party. Glad everyone had such a good time. And happy birthday to Gus!
Happy Birthday, Gus....looks like a wonderful party!
You never know with little ones, but he and the others weren't cranky, so great, thank you
Looks like Gus had a wonderful birthday! Love the invitation.
I did too, thought is was so cute.
One game they played or were going to play was 'Pig Roundup'. Ashley has a garbage bag of pink balloons already inflated. Nora was going to go first, to show them how it was done.
There was a section of the patio roped off and they were to round up the balloons with a fly swatter. Well, just as Nora was getting close to the hog pen (lol) a gust of wind came and blew them back. Then the wind really blew and pink piggy balloons were flying everywhere. One mamma said the kids would round them up 'when pigs fly'-lol-well that ended that game idea and the children were off to the chicken yard to see the real live biddies.
That must have been quite a sight! It's a shame the game was ruined, the kids would've had a ball. Your daughter is so clever!
Great fun, and I'm glad Gus had a wonderful time. Love Chris
I think he did, Ashley said he and Nora both were in a good mood for the party. They had been playing well, not cranky, so she hoped it carried through during the party. It did and Nora was the bossy 'big' sister. Avery got a kick out of all the kids. She hears everything and laughs so well at them.
Sweet. Love the wording on the invitation
I did too Angie. Ashley always comes up with the cutest things too, to decorate. The food was in galvanize buckets or toughs and I made the 'cow patties', chocolate/p'nut butter/oatmeal drop cookies. The bales of hay were rice crispie treats.
