That is adorable! Congratulations on your new 6 needle machine. Multi-needle machine is scary to me!
This giraffe design you'd done looks great& these colors look so delightful too.Had heard according to a lady with a masters degree in geriatrics studies that the more we're able to learn new things the better our brain health will be. Have fun learning on your new machine& thanks for sharing. :~D
Nice project. Now you have to try big designs. My friend has a 6 needle and when she does full chest designs they are beautiful. They look bigger and fully then 1 needle designs. Good Luck and Enjoy!
Congratulations on your first sew out with your new machine. Multi needle machines are a learning curve after using a single needle machine but great fun. The only way to learn how it works is to keep sewing
I hadn't used my single needle in about a week, while working with the 6 needle. I actually had to stop and think about what I was doing on the single needle when I used it again.
Looks lovely I can see why your Niece loved it. Only thing I can see are the tails on each one look a bit thin. I just had another look at the design and it is very thin on the tail so your stitch out looks perfect.
Well done on learning a new machine and a 6 needle one at that.
The tail actually has some loose threads so probably don't have the tension on that needle correct. Thank you.
Love it-Love it-Love it---I don't think another machine is in my future but I do have Babylock Elllisimo Gold and love everything about it EXCEPT--if thread breaks and gets stuck in the tension take up lever spring you can't get it out unless you unscrew the whole left side and remove all that. Surely there is a way to just snap off that thin cover over the mechanism but I am chicken to try that and not break something. I also have the Flourish embroidery only--got that cover off when it happened to that one but now can't get it back on. I don't know if I have to unscrew something or not and my dealer wasn't any help on that question. Still Babylocks and Brother's are my favorite machines. I have an old late 90's Husqvarna #1+--still works so can't complain about that either. Back to design and shirt--you've done a wonderful job--did I say I Love It???
We have the best dealer ever. She just showed me taking the screws off on left side. It works. Yes the thread does get caught. Sometimes I work the knob on right back and forth and watch to see if I can see thread inside. I love my Ellisimo.
The dealer was one of the big reasons I went with this machine. She spent about an hour and a half with me going through the different features of the multi needle machings
I'm so proud of you! You made a great choice in machine and design. Now keep working on more multicolor designs. It will become easier with each one.
Thank you. I am hoping so. It is quite the learning curve. The software is the hardest for me.
Congratulations on a job well done. I have a Babylock ellegante 2 . This is my second Babylock , not a multi needle but have always been happy with the Babylock Brand Lillian
I was thinking of putting a design down low this morning, by the hem, so Gus could see it better. Do you put it on the opposite side for the boy? It is such a coincident we are thinking the same-lol
Yours came out so good! I am very glad for you that you were able to get this multineedle machine. I wish you the best and want you to really enjoy embroidering with it. Does it have a hat hoop with it? I know sometimes they come in a package deal and other times you have to buy separately. I am sure your niece will be wanting more! Have fun playing-Toogie
Thank you Toogie. I have actually done designs on either side of the shirt for her depending on which way the animal or design was facing if it wasn't centered. I've seen them on both sides in the store. No different for boy or girl.
nice Job!! You will love your machine!! I have the 10 needle Love it.!
I debated on the ten needle. but couldn't justify the cost right now but do see it in the future. The hardest part I am having is that I am a visual learner so learning with the instruction manual has been difficult.
Well done Debbie, no wonder your niece loved it. Congratulations on your new 6 needle embroidery machine too. Love Chris
Having fun with your new machine. You did great. Love those cute giraffes and I am sure your niece will love them too
Looks good!...and congratulations on your new 6 needle Intrepid...I know you will love it.
