What an interesting bird. Lovely to see birds I'm not familiar with!
Gorgeous Judy, we've got Corella's visiting our back yard and boy has it been hot today. We've noticed lots of Lorikeets too.
It's 10.14 Sunday evening as I reply to your post and it's still 29C outside!!!!!!!!!!! I've still got the air con on. Love Chris
No air con here ,I got sick of sticking to everything I touch .Our outside thermometers' silver ball is still showing 42C but the red line is showing 33C.Don't know if the silver is still made from mercury these days or not.It will be interesting to see if it eventually goes back down to join up with the red line
what joy, to have that kind of beauty in ones back yard. very lucky!
We have been here 40yrs now & the bird life has really changed ,we see all sorts of parrots turning up now but the sparrows ,pee wees, willy wag tails have disappeared.
Amazing birds AND yard.
thank you ,but the plants will be suffering today 41C according to my husband outside now.
In our area ( far north coast NSW - Bangalow) we see the Red tailed Black cockatoo in groups, they are very noisy birds.
Which north coast do you live?
Central Coast shire. They were making such a loud noise ,so I looked out to see ,what was going on.I thought it was the myna birds attacking our white cat.
