What a great job you cute little push over.
The best word I like is LITTLE even if its not true!-lol-I wish you could have met Pearlie that day, but kinda hard, as she didn't go to Virginia Beach.-lol-She asked me to room with her on this trip but I usually have a room to myself and sometimes she does too. It cost a little extra, but after being with so many people all day, you need that alone time, or at least I do. I hate to ruin the start of a good friendship (lol), but I may try it one time.
Great job with these. Love that fabric
Oh I love it too and can't find it here yet. We live 30 minutes from 3 Walmarts, east, west, and south of home and then two more about 45 min away. So far, I've only checked one so 4 more to go. It was $6.97 a yard and she bought 1 3/4 yards @ $12.20 plus tax. I was able to make 2 totes, two 9 x 11 bags and 1 ith bag out of it.
Love them Toogie Lillian
Thanks Ms. Lillian. I was thinking about you, during my last trip. I helped my niece with a man that is almost blind and also another lady and I went off together, on an excursion. I was thinking, I wish it was you on this trip. You are such a dear.
The next trip after Texas MAYBE going by you, is to Niagara Falls, but I won't make that trip. I need my passport re-newed because we would be going into Canada side and I will have Nora and Gus right before for a week, night and day, so if I survived (lol) the week, I know I won't be in any shape to travel.
Hope you are well and doing great. Tell your girls hello Love ya!-Toogie
Great job as always! You could have quite the job making bags for everyone! Do you get a lot of the same people going on these trips?
We do have the regulars, but always have new people too, so I'd say about half and half. I met the nicest two ladies on the Florida trip. They were sister-in-laws. The oldest told her age at 91 and she got around better than me!-lol-She was so sweet. She sent me a card after the trip saying how much she enjoyed it and meeting me. She also included two tiny cross stitch pieces she did, saying she has to keep her mind sharp. The other lady reminded me of my mom.....
Wow!!! These are great! Well done Toogie!! Hugs, Laura
Toogie stunning as always. I love everything about them. Love Chris
Toogie your bags, totes etc are world class, not surprised at Pearlie's sneaky purchase! haha.
Pearlie is a character, alright. My oldest grandson was looking at my Florida pics on my pc and when he came to one he burst out laughing. It was a shot I took of the old plantation house we visited. In the shot, Pearlie had grabbed a palm limb and placed it over her head like an umbrella and posed for the pic, laughing all the while. Thanks for your nice compliment.
Oh Toogie I have laughed. I love Pearlies logic in fabric buying. Anyway great work
Yes, I laughed too, but I still made it for her. I don't want anyone else to get this idea tho. If they could only see my stash-lol
Wonderful bag! I'm sure Pearlie is going to love it!
You are so sweet to do this for Pearlie. It's great!
lol- thanks Karen. Pearlie quilts or at least pieces the tops, but she acts like she can't sew other things. I really think she can but she is always so good to me, I couldn't help but laugh with her and say I'd make it.
