I love the cross stitch Chris. Looks more old fashioned. Great work!
Great to see a cross stitch emb design stitched out. I've only done 2 designs and they were pretty--just never tried anymore although I have some. You've done a beautiful job.
Thanks so much Patti, I love cross-stitch designs, they are so great to watch sewing out. Love Chris
You have shown us a good example of how you can use cross stitch designs on fabric other than Aida cloth. A very good example it is, too! I must admit, I don't collect very many XST designs but you've done excellent work of these. What stabilizer did you use please?
Thanks so much Toogie, I only ever use Tear away - medium weight normally. I buy it in large rolls about 12 inches wide. Love Chris (This is of course an Australian company)

Just had a chance to see this - it is beautiful!! I want to know, how did you get it finished to quickly? Do you have 3 machines going at once - lol?? Hugs to you, Laura
Hi Laura, I only have two embroidery machines, but put it all together with just the sewing section. Love Chris
These are amazing! Love the star fabric around them also.
You love your Santa's and they sewed out excellent for you!!!!1Hugs
This is terrific, Chris......will look lovely on a wall.....
This quilt impresses me. Maybe I should do a small cross-stitch design. Hugs, Suzanna
This is a fantastic example of machine embroidery and quilting merged to make an amazingquilt! These little Santas are so cute and cheerful! Nicely done!
Thanks so much Penny, (I hope that is your name) and these are actually Cross-stitch too! I love watching it sew out. Love Chris
Such a Stunning Project!!Great work done..Gorgeous!!!
At the rate you are going you will have everything for your Christmas luncheon done by Easter. Great work
Ha ha ha! I can't believe it's only 3 weeks away. We also finish our daylight saving on Easter Sunday 1st April. It's so dark here in the mornings when I go for my walk, so I can't wait.
with you there! hate the last month of daylight saving. not really saving as we have the light on in the mornings because it's so dark.
I was wondering what you were going to do with these...great job~
Thanks Kim, well each year I try to do some sort of Christmas themed sewing project. As I'm a nutter for Santas, this was ideal. It's worked out about 20 inches square. Each little Santa was a 4x4 and I just made it on a piece of white fabric that I cut at 6 1/2 inch square. Love Chris
I love doing machine embroidered cross stitch...it is mesmerizing to watch it stitch out!
Lovely work Chris, much more exciting than housework
Chris, These turned out great. Love your red fabric and each Santa makes the one beside it cuter. They'd be hanging all year at my house...
Thanks Betsey, I wanted to bring the stars out as each Santa has a star in it and I was fortunate enough when I was at Spotlight last year I saw a pack of fat quarters in reds! The star fabric was a piece in it! So it matched perfectly. Love Chris
