Toogie these outfits are adorable! And I'm still chuckling of the pose of Daisy "showing off her panties" LOL! What a beautiful young lady Nora is turning into - she's growing up so fast!
Thank you, yes Nora is growing too fast and seems to be all legs now. Glad you got a laugh!
Cute doll with Lovely dresses...me too into stitching dolls dress matching to its owner, my DGD.
It's fun to sew IF they let the doll sleep over and you're not rushed to make a pattern. I would have liked to made some different styles, but she need quantity, more than variety.
I bet you have fun with your DGD, I know I do. I have just 3 grand-girls, one is 18 years, one is 12, and one is 4 years.
Great work putting clothes on Daisy. Nora sure is growing up, soon she will be making her own dolly clothes.
Thanks Christine and yes, I was thinking the same thing, how she has grown so much, from the time she model that back pack I made.
The Furreal Bouncy dog she bought for 4 bucks ! See asterixsew post and comment below
Such a well dressed baby. Nora must be thrilled. You did such a great job. The smiles on their faces makes it all worth while doesn't it!
Yes, it does. She is learning that you can make just about anything with fabric! Thanks
Lovey cute Daisy Doll. Beautiful wardrobe of clothes. I love the pics showing the matching panties. You are such a great Grandmother and so clever. Hugs
If she would have left Daisy, I wanted to smock something but I would need her for 'fitting'. The sleeves on the red dress weren't as full as I had hoped, but I'm sure the next one will be.Thanks
"We" did a very nice job on clothing the baby. Best dressed doll around.
Very cute. I especially like the purple polka dots. Nora must be thrilled. Grandaddy got the easier job.
Yes, he did! The purple is Nora's color and now she says pink too. Her mom liked the blue, with Daisy's blue eyes. I like that they went home yesterday!-lol
Grandchildren have us grandparents well sussed out and have us obeying their wishes. Great work and enjoy your trips to the thrift shop together and for your husband to Burger King
lol- Nora's mom won't take her to BK but she knows she can get her Papa to take her. It's funny that she has money until we get there and then she 'uses' mine-lol- I told her she was just like her mom use to be. She always spent my money more readily than her own.
She is a good shopper, though. She got this dog for $4.00 which I thought was kind of high for a thrift shop. However, I came home and googled it. She got a deal! I'll see if I have a pic and add it to the top.
Wow!! I think Angie has it right -- clothes for dolls can be very hard to do. There is no room for mistakes to be covered up.
No wonder folks think I can just throw something together.... You must be showing off your skills to people I know. lol
NORA HAS THE BEST DRESSED DOLLY IN TOWN , YOU HAVE A GREAT TALENT
I just love to sew and as my husband says I have a good machine, but thank you.
Happy girl, grandma made very nice things for her doll. This is the best of our hobby, we allways can do things which other people have to buy.
I know I couldn't and wouldn't pay what they charge for a doll outfit, that is not even sewn too well, in most cases.
Good job on all the outfits. Love the backside view of the panties.
I can see one happy little girl playing for hours with her new baby.
LOL- I just flipped her over from her sitting position, thanks. Oh when I would make one, she would want another change of clothing. Always, have to have a pantie to match, too.
You did such a good job. I think these little outfits are sometime harder to sew. Too cute
I use to sew Barbie clothes for her mom, when she was young, so these are bigger compared to the Barbie clothes. Thanks for looking!
Toogie, you are such a good Grandmother to your grandchildren. These little outfits are just gorgeous. No wonder Nora loves you making things for her. Well done, love Chris
Thanks Chris, I like to include her but as she bought other things to play with she would only pop in when I needed Daisy for a fitting-lol
