Good morning Cuties! I wanted to show my collection of gifts that will be given on this trip. I have 50 gifts here and we have 44 passengers. With me being sick the last few weeks, this is all I managed, so I am thankful I started early.

We also had funerals. We buried my uncle yesterday (remember I made him the Boxy bag in the Farmall tractor with his name on?). Today, my niece by marriage and she is also the trip hostess, is burying her brother. Our trip starts Sunday, so I am very thankful this didn't happen next week, while we were gone.
I never got the first 'Rollin' in the Dough' boas back white, so a shame they won't be given. I do need to put a tag on these green Boas, to wash separately the first few times.
All laid out it doesn't look like much. I did hold a few zipper bags and luggage tags back for my stash, but not a big variety here. I also have some cord wraps that won't take much room up, if she needs a few more gifts.
I'm sorry I didn't get to make some of your suggestions, but I will keep them in mind for the next trip and thank you. I ran out of time.
I hope they like their gifts. Have a good day Cuties!-Toogie

Going to Florida on a bus trip. I'm sorry you've been sick so long. Did you have the flu? So many people did this winter. Hope you feel up to sewing soon.

Thank you, I hope so. Everything is different than other trips, except the valet trays and the zipper bags. Those are a repeat.

What a lucky group you are traveling with! Tell us how these are given out-do you play games for them? Have a wonderful trip. Hugs. Nan W

Yes, we do play games, but this one will be the 'grand finale'. For it we have tickets, to which they have a stub to match. If their ticket matches the one drawn, they win. For this game though it is a 2 part drawing. We all put in a dollar (only if they want to play). The first drawing is for this bag, or whatever nicer gift, we have. The second draw is for the loot, the $44. if everyone participates. Instead of a dollar to shop, someone has $44.00! Just a bit of fun while traveling. You know 'kids' (us) have to have activities while riding-lol

My goodness, you have been busy! Love your variety and I'm sure everyone will appreciate whichever gift they receive. It is more blessed to give than receive so I'm sure that YOU will be blessed beyond measure. Hugs, Avis

You think? Some of them have no idea where the gifts come from and I like it that way.
Although the last trip, to my embarrassment, my niece did announce all the gifts were made by me. I didn't want anyone to know, as they might feel like they should get me something. That is not what I intended. I did it to help my niece.

Fantastic stash-how you accomplish and so sick I'll never know-I can't even do it when I am well, Crazy sicknesses going around this year. I am deaf in my right ear due to severe ear infection and left not hearing so well. Still coughing a bit. Had knee surgery in Oct and hurt it how I don't know, but hurts again, then end of Dec last appt for eye surgery. I noticed that eye drooping a little. I did sew today some, I promise--our downstairs heater is out and holding 59 in the downstairs right now so freezing. I hope your well and enjoy wherever your going--I hope somewhere warm.

I hope its warm too Patti. Sorry you've had one thing after the other. Is your hearing loss permanent? I hope you get straightened out soon and warm up. I hate the cold.

Ooh! Toogie these are all gorgeous and we know how much effort goes into making any machine embroidery item. I think you are wonderful to do so much for this trip with all that has been going on in your life, but hey, you are amazing. Hope you are starting to feel better and I'm so sorry about all the losses in your family and your niece's family too. Love Chris

Thank you Chris. This was the only uncle I had left, my dad's brother. It was hard on my niece losing her brother only 3 1/2 years older than her.
You give me far too much credit, because we all know how busy you stay too. I am feeling better, although I thought I would freeze where I stood, at the graveyard! I huddled with some cousins and one of the ones on my right was shivering more than me! I hope it doesn't make me re-lapse and that is one reason I'm not packing until almost the last minute.

We seem to always run short, if we decide to play more games. My niece is 'suppose' to have one for each, but just in case, I have 6 extra here.

I think you did a wonderful job Toogie. I don't think you need to worry about how much you got done. People should be pleased with what they get. These are wonderful gifts. I think that it is wonderful that you were able to get this many done with as ill as you have been. I am sorry to hear about your uncle passing and others in your family. Hugs.

Thank you.
I want to start on a project of my own but don't ever seem to be able, with one thing or another. Looking at this photo sure seems I used the same color a lot. May need to switch some things out.
