Make your own Band-Aids. Stitched today for the second time since last April. Well, when you're out of practice, your machine is out of sorts and you need to relearn some things you used to know. Didn't stitch myself, but slammed myself with the Brother W needle carrier. If you have a Brother, you know how big and fast and heavy it is. As hard as I try to keep bandaids at the machine, couldn't find one. Reached in the trash for a fabric trimming, grabbed my masking tape and scissors. Folded the bit of fabric and centered it on a long cut of tape and wrapped my boo-boo. Tabbed the last end of the tape so I can remove it when I am through stitching and using scissors for the day. Boo boo is on the thumb where scissors rub. This is crafting, right?

Sometimes when you're having a rough day, you wonder how we've ever survived this long. Glad you're okay.

Yep, that's crafting! Good thinking on using scraps to make a band aid. I hope it heals quickly. That's annoying to cut yourself on a thumb or finger that you need to use.

I am so sorry you hurt yourself. Amazing what we can use our fabric scraps for. Today I put a piece in the bottom of a planter to stop the soil from falling out. I am amazed at your comment about having Band-Aid next to your machine. Never even occurred to me.
