This is a new idea to me that I am not familiar with so could you explain it a bit more. I wasn't aware of this procedure so on my Siberian Husky, I used lighter weight white fleece under the embroidery when I did a fleece scarf. I look forward to your response.... Thank you. Carol
PS. You did a nice job on all of your towels.
Hi:I have SewWhat Pro and the knock down stitch is one of the features. You use it for fabrics with a high nap...eg....towels. What it does is put stitches under your design to press down the nap, so you don't have to use a top stabilizer
I can see where the KD stitches would come in handy, especially in designs like that wolf where there are lots of places for the pokies to show. I think you have mastered KD techinque! Looking at the designs they look pretty dense. Do the KD stitches make the fabric a lot stiffer?
Beautiful designs!!!Great work done..Beautiful!!!
At first I thought it was applique. Now I understand what knock down is. You have done a great job on the knock downs!
Looks good Carolyn... Keep up the good work. I hadn't seen this before... still learning from y'all everyday.... Thanks for sharing with us..
Have a great day and stay warm.
Are these done with the SewWhat Pro feature? I do like it...to me it makes the design stand out more and looks like a border around it.
I love this feature on SewWhat Pro..
Good job Carolyn.
I'm still none the wiser, what is a knock down stitch and where do you find it on your machine? You have a Husqvarna like mine I think, so I'm very curious. Great work by the way. Love Chris
