I have had some sad news this week. My niece lost her son-in-law when he had a heart attack while rounding up the cattle on his farm. He was riding his trail bike when it happened. He was found by one of his sons. The funeral was this morning. Then yesterday her mum (My sister) passed away quietly in the early hours. She was 95 years of age. So we will have another funeral next week. Please add my niece and her family to your prayer list. This past week has not been easy for them. Hugs

It is never the right time to have family or friends pass away, but it is specially hard when it is around the holidays. The shadow of those events will always be there. Hopefully that will be a time for remembering the good times you had with them.
I am sorry for your loss and sending you my condolences. Prayers are being said.

I am so sorry for all your loss. Age doesn't matter, it is still your sister...our niece's husband's funeral was yesterday, he passed away Christmas eve, at the age of 51. As to be expected, she is taking it very hard. So sad for everyone and especially at this time of year. Remembering you and your family-Toogie

A second grief multiplies rather than adding. I will put all the family in my prayers. It is a lot to deal with. So sorry for the loss of your sister.

Many thanks. Yes 1 death around Christmas is not good but to have 2 is even harder. It is a relief for my sister as she did not know any of us and just lay and not able to talk. At least she is now at peace. Hugs

Thoughts and prayers with your niece and family at this time. Hard enough to cope with one death but two in a few days is extra difficult.
