Klee Kai Silhouette by Embroidery Library..

This was placed on a red fleece scarf so being I didn't want red showing in the dogs face, I put white fleece over top of the red on the front and on the back, I used same coloring but put a white sailcloth fabric instead of the white fleece to keep the bulk down. After completing, the white fleece stood out and gave the dog a realistic appearance with the puffy areas. I am real pleased with this outcome and will do it more often when I want a color where there isn't embroidery in the design.

I didn't mention, sorry, it is a fleece scarf. I had a design on the scarf and it didn't turn out from some years ago so I picked all the thread and stabilizer out of it and put this heavier design to cover over the pre-stitched area. The design is stitched through the fabric and I used bobbin thread of the same color as the top, put white fleece on top of the red fleece and stitched. At the same time, on the back I had white sail cloth as the white over red for the design on the back and no matter which side shows, they both look good. It is the embroidery that holds everything together.

Very effective, well done. Hope you won't mind but I will save this idea for future use.
Cheers,

that i the reason I posted it and gave directions. I never thought of doing a second piece of material to fill in the in-embroidered areas and sketches looked bad with only one color and the fabric being something other than white for example. Feel free to use my experiment....
