These are so neat to see. Part of her blessing for surviving the cancer is this kind of joy, the unconditional love of a toddler.
She was hurting the next day from lifting her, but Mom was so happy that Riley went straight to her that she talked about it for days, and said it was worth the hurt.
Thank you for sharing these special moments of love and ages. It's moments like these that I was talking about in my post. It's one of the important little things. Bless you and your family. Give your mom and dad a hug from someone who has neither. Merry Christmas. hugs Leaha
Thank you. My dad is in poor health and has a nurse on weekdays. She was able to capture these moments when I was too busy just watching them. I dread the days when I no longer have them.
Treasure these moments.. They are so special. Thank you for sharing.
You are right--they are so very special. My parents are declining and I know my time with them is short, so I'm so thankful to have a visual record of their strong love
Such sweet pictures - you are so lucky to have your Mom and for her to help nurture your sweet Granddaughter. Very special blessing indeed!!! Merry Christmas!
I'm so glad that we could capture these moments. We try not to be a slave to our cell phones, but they made taking these photos possible. Merry Christmas to you and yours too!
How wonderful! 4 Generations in your family and your mom is doing so well carrying and holding the little one. Wishing you all a lovely Christmas time and only good things like health for 2018! Thanks for sharing these special pictures - Maria
She was a little sore the next day after carrying her but she said her joy at Riley coming to her so willingly was worth it
I am glad to see you still have your mom. She is doing good, if she can walk and hold a two year old, without falling. It doesn't seem like Riley should be 2 already!
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, filled with love, laughter, family and friends (and good food!-lol).-Toogie
Thank you. Riley is as big as a two-year-old, but she's 19 months old today (and suffering from the flu this week, even after having the flu shot earlier this fall). I'm so grateful that my mom and dad are still here this year. I know my time with them is short, so I treasure it. Good tidings to you as well!
Ohhh, I can see why they are two very special blessings. I can't help but smile seeing them and their love for each other. I hope you all have a very joyous Christmas day.
Thank you, and the same Christmas wishes to you. My mom has always had a special way with children, and I'm so glad that my granddaughter gets to experience that.
