Toogie do you sell your Monkeys or only make them for the family???
If you sell them how much do you sell them for?
They are so cute, love them all Happy Stitching :~)
I made these for the family for Christmas after just learning how. I have one extra but would not know what to even charge. Takes about 3 1/2 hours each after you get the hang of it. Are you wanting to make them or buy them already made? email me if you have my email or pm me here.
I was thinking of getting one. Would have to have Thomas the tank engine on it. I'm going to look for a pattern and give them a try. Love your gang that you made. Thank you
I don't know how you manage to do all of these, plus all the rest of the things you do for your family Toogie. These are just adorable and I know they take such a long time to make. Kudos to you, these are fabulous. Love Chris
It takes about 3 1/2 hours each, now that I know what I'm doing-lol- I bet you smiled with each one, you can't help but smile. Thanks, hope your day goes well-Toogie
Just seeing this, you are something! These are so cute!!
They were fun to do but its time to move on to something new. Glad I got them done in time for Christmas. The kids loved them! When our oldest grand daughter age 17, saw she had one attached to her stocking too, she was the first to jump up and grab hers down!-lol
Toogie, they are sooooo cute!!
Thank you, I'm glad you like them! I can feel you smiling!-lol-I also wanted to say that I used my Kam Snaps for the eyes, so maybe it wouldn't pull off as easily as a button.
Looks like a lot of monkey business going on at your place.. They are so cute. Hugs
Love your family of Monkey's. I like how you have them on a tree.
Happy Stitching :~)
Thank you Brenda, they went over quiet well. The first one to grab hers off the tree was the 17 year old!-lol-Hers was the little Italian monkey.
They sure are cute and just make you smile! I did the same thing with snowmen. Found one so cute that it called for another then "Oh, it would be cute it this fabric",etc.,etc!! Now I have several gifts on hand for emergencies. Merry Christmas!
I wanna see your snowmen!!! Have you posted them here? If so, I may have missed them. Too late for this year, but always planning for next!
Kim usually does something to share with us at Christmas time, but if she has anything for this year, I must have missed it. I don't always get her designs, but the year I got her snowballs they were a huge 'hit', at my house.
So adorable. I see the picture where they are all on the bed. Hopefully they did not fall off! Great job! I think they will be well loved. Now try to keep them away from the elves that have been creating mischief on this site! I know it is hard to keep track of so many of them. I see they had to climb the tree also!
I can't decide to hide them in a wooden barrel I have or hang them from the stocking tree. I only hung them here to take the pic. If I hang them, I will have to move/hide the stocking tree into my sewing room, until they all get here. Since they arrive at different times, I know if I move it the kids will be curious as to what happened to their stockings.
I hope that there is no cure for your monkey fever as these are too cute to quit on.
PS- little known hint....when you edit your post, delete the /<>br . It is a return and inserts blank lines. (if you want to that is, I'm just sharing the hint. :P )
Thanks for the hint-did not know that or why they come up.
I'm quitting for now but I showed a few people, all who wanted to buy and I said NO these are for my g-kids!
Hmmm...are you sure these are not rabbits? They certainly keep breeding like rabbits! Love them all
These are absolutely adorable! You have started me thinking about what to make next year. By the way, fyi, a group of monkeys is called a troop of monkeys. Another collective noun is a barrel of monkeys. And what a great troop or barrel you have created. Hugs, Suzanna
I know I told my friend that made more than me I have a barrel she could borrow!-lol
These are oh so cute. Hugs
Thanks Shirley. My friend has made 16! Some for g-kids other for her Sunday School class children.
How cute! Each new I see I think is my favorite - and then along comes another one. They each have such personality in their faces and "clothing". I know they will be loved by some special children.
Five little moneys jumping on the bed.
One fell down and bumped his head.
Momma called the doctor
and the doctor said,
"No more monkeys jumping on the bed"
Looks like they are getting into lots of mischief!
Oh Toogie these are brilliant. Quite a family and will we see the family expanding?
