Top job!
I love everything about it, is a wonderful gift and will be treasured.
Thanks so much Roberta, yes, it's always good to have something you can use. Love Chris
How wonderful! I always admire quilts - sewn and embroidered so exactly. One day it may come true that I try one myself but so far I am still too busy with "sew repair work" for the family members but often take the liberty embroidering and sewing smaller projects.
This will be a wonderful memory for your priest and he will be wrapped in the love of his community. Wishing you a good day tomorrow when you all meet in church to give him the quilt.
Thanks Maria, but he is a SHE! She was absolutely thrilled with it as she is a cold frog and really feels the cool weather. We of course are in Summer time downunder! Any she loved it. Love Chris
That is the sweetest thing I have ever seen! Love it! And such a comforting and love filled gift!
Thanks so much Kay and if I haven't welcomed you to Cute, a big Aussie welcome from me. Love Chris, Newcastle, Australia.
I can see this project was down with great care and love. Fabulous!
Hmmmm? Not as good as it would have been if it was better.
But the quilt is fabulous!!!
What do you mean, it's perfect. It's much better in the flesh so to speak and the lettering looks fabulous. We had to use the red and the blue for the Knights colours!!!!!! Love Chris
It's just something my ex always said to be funny. It too sounds better in the flesh. :-)
What a lovely remembrance for Lu....she will be thrilled to be sure...so glad that Meg was able to help you too....
Thanks Kim for your offer to help too. I so appreciate that we can ask for and get help on here so quickly. Meg is wonderful to help me out so willingly. Love Chris
A wonderful farewell gift that will be long remembered.
I hope so Betsey and as Lu is 74 and very little she feels the cold, so a quilt will be a perfect for her. Love Chris
Such a great job. The label is perfect. Cuties to the rescue. .
Great work. Lovely message. I am sure it will be well received. Hugs
Looks fab, Chris. I am sure Lu will love it. I liked the wording and Meg did a good job on it.
Removing the old tiles was a dusty business, I can write my name on every horizontal object :) - new plaster today, new tiles and necessary plumbing tomorrow and grouting on Monday.
Thanks Martine. I was thrilled to be able to get it finished in time too!!
I know what you mean about tile dust - we are having our whole upstairs bathroom removed and renovated in February! Love Chris
