Ha ha!-Give it to him! Great stitching..was the gold thread a problem? I bought some and have never used.

The gold wasn't a problem and actually it was a spool of good old Coats and Clark that I had hanging around and not the "high price thread" that I normally use. I did use a gold colored regular embroidery thread in the bobbin since my machine has gotten into the nasty habit of pulling the lower thread up to the top when I stitch on this heavy felt... but otherwise, no problem. Give it a try... it's so much fun!
