My sister and I don't have a deer widow time, but we do take the day after Thanksgiving to get together and do crafts, cook, and just hang out together. We call it girls day and do whatever we want. I look forward to it every year. It's funny, because we were not close as kids, and now we talk (text really) every day.

The outside frame is actually the back fabric. I cut it about 2 inches bigger all the way around, turn the edges under and bring it to the front. Then stitch it down with the blanket stitch using my regular sewing machine. Then stitch in the ditch around the other frame.
