Look what my clever hubby made for me today. It still needs to be painted but I just couldn't wait and wanted to share with you his design with a few tips from me.
It is a multi-purpose spool holder for upright spools and metallic threads that feed better on their sides. He recycled the thread guide from my other stand that was always coming apart.
I was so happy with it and said he may just get some more requests!

Some ladies are very lucky to have husbands who can make things. Well done to yours! Love Chris

Mine is making a large thread rack tomorrow for a friend, like he made me and my daughter.

You guys sound like a great team. You design and request, he makes. I'm going to show my hubby your idea.

Isn't it nice when our husbands can make something we can use in our sewing or embroidering. Good job!

Isn't it wonderful to have your hubby be able to turn your dreams into reality. I know many of the folks here will also want one.

Lovely. I have been saying this is what I need (especially for metallic threads). God bless your husband.

What a clever idea. You are so lucky to have a husband that can do those things! If it involves destruction of something, my husband can do it well. Building things on the other hand - not so much. Love him anyway.
