Hi Cuties, I need to know something.

I get daily newsletters from All Sew Crafty. When you click on it brings you to a free design to click and download. I do it fine from my home pc. My question is, Is there a way to download and save your design from an IPhone? I can check my emails but my phone says 'not supported by Safari'. I will miss 9 letters while I am away and the links are only valid for 24 hours....What's a Cutie to do?

I use Dropbox also and I see instructions are included down in another comment. I would like to add that you can download from FaceBook also but not from the FaceBook app. You need to open FaceBook in a mobile browser such as Safari to be able to download.

I am not on FaceBook but safari won't let me download from a site or my email. Maybe it would if I have Dropbox app?

WOW!!! When Hubby and I are not home, I try to find a public library or other area that has WIFI. When we camp, we often go in to town to get ice---while there, we stop at the local public library and spend a few minutes to check emails and I get a chance to download designs. I do not have an IPhone, so I cannot answer your questions about the IPhone. Hope you get the letters you want/need!!!!!! GOD bless you.

I have free wifi on the bus and at the hotels and can check my email each day, but my IPhone says Safari cannot save these design files. I need something to open and save them until I can get them on my home pc.

Thanks for asking the question Toogie. This is something that I did not know either! If only I had known. LOL

I missed designs before too and I wasn't going to start this new font from allsewcrafty because I knew I would miss 9 days, but it's so pretty!!! It has 2 Uppercase and a lower case each day......

I use Dropbox. It works on many systems/platforms. You will need it on your computer as well as your phone. I like to create the account on my computer first. Then, you can add it to your phone with ease. I have added a link that will take you through the process. I use it for designs and important pictures. I would hate to break my phone or have it stolen...because often, you can not get the pictures back.

Thank you rescuer...I read the info in the link. This makes me nervous. ...You say I need it on my computer first. How do you create it on the home pc and then the iphone? I am stepping out of my comfort zone BIG TIME... maybe I should wait for some of the kids to come....

I don't have a IPhone but I can download on my tablet or Kindle with DROPBOX. I have it on my tablets and computer so when I get home I just have to open DROPBOX and I have the designs. I am sure you can put the DROPBOX app on your IPhone and it is free. I Saved a lot of designs when we were travelling.

That's what I want to be able to do, too. I'm just too scared to try anything electronic.

Toogie, that's exactly why I don't even start those types of alphas. Since we can't share, you can't even have someone save them for you. Hugs. Nan W

Toogie I am not much help. I know people use the Cloud to store files. That may be an idea. Download to Cloud and you can get it from there once you are home.
