Have any of you tried the Embroidery Fonts Plus free software for lettering? I want to embroider a Bible verse, and ran across this. Is it worth the effort?

Have you looked at Juju's designs and sewforum for the bible verses already digitized? I'll have to look a bit to see who did them at sewforum.

Michsnowbird is the person at sewforum. Hit the little wheel next to the search box for advanced search and you can look for topic headings instead of every posting. It's easier. I searched for bible verses.

thank you. I don't know the tricks to navigate sewforum so I don't go there very much. This will help me a lot.

Like Sue, I also used it before I bought Embird.
Well worth trying before you spend money on digitising programs.

I used it a lot before I bought Embird. I found it easy to use - a bit like word processing because you can easily control the size. I bought a few extra fonts but was disappointed when they began not allowing designs using the lettering to be sold. The big bonus is that it is free!

Thank you. I'm still mulling it over, and I'm a slow "muller" so it'll be a while before my decision is made.
