Great work by both ladies... love them, hugs maria xxx
Beautiful Chris! Your ladies will love using them and I don't blame you for keeping these for your own table. It will dress it up nicely for your own family gatherings.
Thanks Toogie, yes I thought the same. We're actually off to Europe for Christmas this year meeting up with Amy, Steve and the girls for a week in Innsbruck. We are in Sydney st the moment at the Novotel Darling Harbour having been out all morning shopping for the snow. I wanted a water, wind and snow proof jacket and shoes that we can walk in the snow. We've gone well! ❤️ Chris
Meant to say we have done well - this selective text sometimes gets ahead of me!!!
They are very pretty. Your table will look lovely. Kim sure does lovely designs. Thank you for sharing. Happy Stitching. :~)
They are lovely, your ladies are sure to appreciate them. I saw some great fabric in my local shop that would be perfect for these. There was a variegated Christmas red and a variegated Christmas green. Alas, I don't have the design. I'll have to run a search on my computer to see what I've got in the way of appliqued poinsettias. Maybe I have something that will look nice, though I'm sure not as nice as Kim's and yours.
Simply beautiful. They would make a lovely wreath too.
They are beautiful! Do to have any idea how long it takes to make one? I supposed you made them production style. For example , working on all the green leaves at one time.
Thanks - each is done one Poinsettia at a time. These were made on my Husqvarna if I had the Brother machine going I would have done two at a time, but I would have had to have two sets of threads to match. They take about an hour and a half to sew out. ❤️ Chris
Very nicely done. Beautiful coasters for the table!
Well, Chris, these are certainly stunners! Wonderful job...I know, there is lots of cutting, but like you said, well worth the effort!
Thanks so much dear Kim, yes there is a lot of cutting, and I'm fastidious about appliqué. I'm so pleased they all turned out OK. I had one accident in making the last one - I must have knocked the arm during the green satin stitch of the leaves! Went into the kitchen to get a cuppa came back to find it all out of whack - so into the bin and I started it all over again! I must mention I used size 14 needles. ❤️ Chris
Wonderful design Kim Chris you stitched them beautifully. Well done both you
Chris they are beautiful. Your Christmas lunch will be a success like every year. Funny this afternoon I cut the material to get going tomorrow on the same project.
Good to hear that Angie, I did the same had all the little sets sitting next to my machines so i could just grab and go. I took over a week to do them as I didn't want to push my machinevtoo much. ❤️ Chris
Well done to you Chris and to Kim! These are so festive!!
Thanks Laura, can't go wrong with Kim's designs. They look lovely in the gold and cream ones she did years ago too! ❤️ Chris
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. What's next for Christmas. You're my early warning system for the holiday.
Absolutely gorgeous Chris. Dragonflyer does some great digitizing. They will be a hit I am sure. Hugs Marg
Thanks Marg, sorry for not answering sooner we're down in Sydney for a couple of days. ❤️ Chris
yes i love them great work girls:):)hugs
Thanks Carolyn, can't wait to see what the table looks like this year. I'm hoping to get a beautiful floral decoration for the centre of the table in Poinsettias. I've got placemats I made years ago with some small Poinsettias on them, but I've got a couple of other small things yet to do. You must be up late! Love Chris
