313851Coming along beautifully. Cannot wait for the next installment. My eldest daughters wedding dress had a bodice of guipure lace over pure silk which was so difficult to sew. It took me weeks to sew on hundreds of tiny seed pearls on the lace when the dress was finished.

It was from spotlight. I saw it quite some time ago and loved it. It is expensive but I bought half a metre when they had a 50% off sale. At the time I didn't know we would be using it for my dd dress. Luckily we had more than enough.

Thanks Chris. My daughter worked out there is about 48m of tulle circumference at the hem. Will take a while to trim!

Keep your eye open at Markets or Shops closing down and you may find a smaller mannequin. I did years ago one from a shop about a 3 to 5 year old size for $10 got so much use out of it especially for pinning no stabbed kids.

I was about to gather the traditional way and then I remembered I had a gathering foot that fitted this machine, I definitely a happy dance knowing how much time it would save
