What a lovely bag for a lovely lady. You are blessed to have her as a friend. Hugs
Wow, Debbie this is just beautiful. I love green and pink together, looks so fresh and Spring like! What an awesome friend that lady is too, to help you out. You too, for being such good 'parents' to your niece's children. God bless you for taking on this huge task. Love Chris
You did Awesome work!!!Love the colour fabric!!!Well done...Stunning!!!
This is a fabulous tote! You have a very good friend too.
Oh, gosh, this is such a lovely gift! Your friend is going to be thrilled! The colors are so pretty.
Oh yes, it is! I love it, the colors and the thought! You think she is wonderful, and she is, but so are you. It's not easy raising kids at any age. I know she will be happy with her new tote.
How old are the kids?
The kids are 8 and 9 ( 10 at the end of the month. He's counting down lol). We've had them for almost 3 years now. Both parents are in prison. He deserves to be there, and my niece got caught up in a bad situation. As bad as it sounds, we are thankful that this happened or we are pretty sure that he would have killed her. She was a battered wife and didn't let on. Thankfully she has turned her life around and we are counting down the two years she has left. If we hadn't taken the kids, they would have ended up in the system and neither my husband or I could let that happen as we had adopted kids out of the system. I look back and think that the Lord had us do that in order to prepare us to deal with the problems these two have.
What wonderful people you and your hubby are. Big hugs from down under. Shirley
I don't need to say 'bless you' as I know you are blessed with a relationship with God. We may not understand why we go through hard times until we 'weather the storm'. Hindsight is always easier.
Here's wishing the 10 year old an early Happy Birthday and I know you will make it special for him. Hugs all around from me!-Toogie
I recognize the patchwork pattern, good way to convert it to a tote.
