Biscornu brainwave!

A simple little cross stitched biscornu pincushion stitched in multicoloured thread on evenweave fabric to look hand stitched. Whip stitched together by hand through the edge stitches. (Foolproof!) Finished off in the centre with a Kam snap which was very helpful during the finishing process.

very appropriate, as too much embr. just prevent the pins going in. The best one that I have is just a 'redwork' pattern.

I love your use of variegated thread, great effect and no changing spools - and I like the return of the biscornu. I find whipstitching an embroidered outline the easiest method to finish them - foolproof indeed.
