wow!!! they are so nice!!!!!!!!!*********************
Avery's tops and dresses look so cool and fresh ,well done Gram
Those are all beautiful for a lucky young lady. Avery will looks lovely in all of them. Really nice sewing.
Thank you, the side has a fake pocket. It is just an opening, with a snap closure, for her feeding tube at night.
Avery will be the best dressed girl in her new home. Lovely dress for her. Take care, Happy Stitching :~)
Well done, Toogie! I have read that her mom has chosen the light pink ones so you don't need any advice now.
Hugs, Lidia
You are so talented. Avery is so blessed to have a Grandma like you.
I like the snaps you have on the last one, makes it fun. I often mix mine up as well. One colour for the top and a different one for the bottom. Kids love it.
Well done, you make such beautiful things
Beautiful job, Toogie....love the pintucks, too! What does the label say...can't make out the lettering...love the hot pink snaps!
Thanks Kim, the label is on the reverse side. I flipped it over because the info/size is all wrong and her name can be written on top.
As you have them here? The variegated look is fun in the picture...in person? They are lovely.
Gorgeous Toogie, I had some of that fabric at one time with the rosebuds and I'd definitely go for the darker pink they stand out - they match the colour of the rosebud. Love them all and Avery is one very lucky young lady to have you make all these pretty clothes for her. Love Chris
Chris this was in my stash and I usually make a baby blanket with crochet edging. I was lucky to have enough, to make her gown, with what I already had.
I like the darker snaps for the plisse one.
Gosh you have been busy all looks so nice.
A nice variety of colours using the one pattern.
I am curious to known what the label inside the neck says
Hi Judy, it's a label saying Cousins - I think it's a C as the stitching is right on the first letter, then that it's 65% Rayon, 35% Polyester, hand or machine wash in cold water, line dry, cool iron. MADE IN U.S.A. Size 3. Toogie is one clever seamstress. Love Chris
You remember the photo of the sewing day at church, of me and my 'new' friend Brenda? Cousins was the business she started/owned and no longer has. These labels were leftovers from her shop. She gave me a bunch to put on my sewing as she knows how much I sew. I usually cut the 'Cousins" off but I needed the whole label for Ashley to write Avery's name.
Those are all so pretty and delicate and feminine!! I love them all.
Beautiful work busy lady! And a lucky girl. I like the pale pink!
You have been a busy lady. I like the pale snaps on the last one as well. Hugs
Not as busy as I should be Shirley. Projects are piling up.....Are you speaking of the pale pink or the white?
Very nice gowns. I love that they are each a bit different! Like the pale snaps for last gown. Did you sew all of them on the same step all at once in white thread, or did you finish each one as you went? Just curious.
I finished each as I went, but only changed my serger thread from white to pink as most I could use white. I didn't have enough cones of the light green though😒 .After I made one to see how it fit, I did cut the rest out, all at once.
I need to make some for myself...I guess I should tell you that I have non-alcoholic cirrhosis, and not a long time to live, but I am at peace and happy, whatever the Lord sends me He knows why!
I am so sorry to here this...I'm at a loss of what to say. I am happy to know you trust in God... Avery's gowns were easy to make, I'm sure you can make some lovely ones too. I've already forgotten but I think I made these off a girls/childs size 14.
