Dresses are terrific. Your pictures are marvelous, especially the boys. They definitely put a smile on my face./ Lillian
So glad to make you smile. Poor little Gus hits his head so much I'm afraid he will have seizures at some later date. He is walking but my husband says he's clumsy. I just say he hasn't got good balance...kinda like me!
your little dresses are so sweet Toogie ,where did you get the pattern ,I love the little frill over the sleeve ,the babies look so s=cute ,Gus is growing very fast
Yes the boys are growing too fast. Rylan in blue hat, is about to catch Gus in white hat,and there are 7 months difference in age.
You cut the dress the width of the fabric and I got the armhole off the internet, for different sizes. Brenda has the length measurements but I need to get that from her. The flutter sleeve is something I came up with for Avery. Are you planning on making some?
Good work and you made quite a few girls happy
I think the twins were. Their great-grandmother sewed but she has long been gone, so I think this was their first experience at seeing a piece of fabric turn into something. I was happy to make them happy. Thanks
Great work Toogie. Cute pictures of the boys also. Hugs
Well done. Nice gingham dresses. Good price as well.
Love the expressions on the boys.
I wish I would have found this gingham earlier, so I could have made more for her.
The boys are so fun to watch. I love their expressions too and how they react to each other. Thanks
you will make some little girls very happy beautifull well done
Wonderful! You have such a giving heart and spirit!
I know someone else does too...all the beautiful sewing you do for your family. Thanks
Hi thanks for showing! I don't find words: Everything and everyone is so beautiful and/or sweet. I fell in love with the gorgeous dresses you make in an instant and I also fell in love with the two expressive baby boys. Looks like you are having some joy in your life which is well deserved. XXX Maria
My family is my heartbeat, they give me such love and it is returned to them seven fold.I kept Rylan yesterday. He was so good and the first time to stay with us, too. I must say though, I was tired out, as he is not the lightest baby. He is only 8 months and Gus is 15 months. Sitting together they look pretty equal in size, but standing Gus is taller. Gus's mom is pretty tall and dad is 6'4". Thank you-Toogie
They turned out very cute! Love Gus and Rylan's expressions. Don't they just melt your heart? DebB
They turned out so cute, and you in a hurry! If you want to get something done, give it to a busy woman...
I used to work better 'under pressure', I just wish I could have done more. Thanks
Very nice dresses. Gus is adorable. I think his opinion will change next year.
Let's hope it does Christine, as we are 'country folk'. Kids play outside so he needs to get over his fear of grass. We laughed at Easter. One of our older grown grandsons and also Gus's cousin was carrying him around hunting easter eggs. When they found an egg we were watching, as Dustin tried to stand Gus, who was barefooted at the time, down on the ground to pick up the egg. His legs came up, feet pointing east and west,as he was not putting his feet on the grass! Dustin looked at us and we started laughing. He didn't know how Gus reacted to grass but he soon learned.
Everything was made with so much love and care Toogie, but I wouldn't expect anything less from you. I know the recipients will cherish these so much. You are so very generous. Love Chris
It's an easy pattern Chris as you know I'm sure, but they were made from the heart, so you are right about that. Thanks
Toogie, you have made a wonderful collection of dresses, I am sure they all will be very much appreciated. A terrific job from you as usual, you are so thoughtful and giving. Well done, the photo of the boys is delightful, they are growing up quickly. Sandra.
They are growing up quickly, almost too quick! It seems once Rylan passed the trauma of his birth, he just sprouted! There are 7 months difference in their age and he looks almost as big as Gus. He will walk soon, I feel, as yesterday when I had him he had pulled up at the sofa and reached over for the coffee table letting go, so it shouldn't be long as he is getting braver and more balanced.
Great work with the dresses. You have been one busy lady
Sometimes, too busy-lol-I canned 11 quarts of Bread and Butter pickles while I sewed on the 3 dresses, in second photo and 7 qts the day before. I use pickles in my potato salad,I know some do and some don't but my nephew loves the homemade ones in mine. When he was small he used to tell my sister he wanted some of Aunt Toogie's pickle salad!-lol
You have been a busy lady again, the boys are so cute. I had a grand daughter like Gus she hated the feel on grass.
I hope Christine is right and his opinion changes soon, as the kids play outside a lot. When he was in his walker, before he learned to walk, and his mom would take him outside, he would keep his feet on the bottom frame of the walker, so he didn't touch the grass! We laugh and say he is like my husband. My DH will not go barefooted at all, even in the house with a just mopped floor! Weird aren't they?!-lol
