Downpour rain here tonight. It went from full daylight to dark like night in 4-5 minutes and has now rained at least 2 inches in about 15 minutes! Any daylilies that hadn't gotten the "bloom now" message are now preparing to bloom! So happy. I love daylily season. Another reason to be happy - made a trip to court house today, which usually puts me in a foul mood, but today, on a walker, in 25 minutes I accomplished renewing my driver's license, getting tags for two vehicles, plus my handicap tags. Those in USA know how long those lines can be, but I hit it just right, 1st or 2nd in each line! Yay!

Amazing how violent these storms can be and come in so fast. Enjoy all those blooms. I miss my flowers but am content with my indoor plants and veggie garden. I'm impressed you managed to time it so perfectly at the courthouse. Stay happy!

Impressive. Usually it is a day trip to get all that accomplished. My lilies are starting to bloom. I just have the regular large orange blooms. There was a small patch when I moved in and now they are taking over the front of the house. I am attempting transplantation in the back yard which is not going well, I think they are not getting enough sun.

Please send some rain to us. No rain since October. Our fires have not helped with the already water shortage

I'm probably two hours west of you as the crow flies, and the weather.

Congratulations. Those lines can be really long. I had to get tags a couple of weeks ago. I walked in. Looked at the room and went back out. Every single seat in the place was full. The lady behind me was surprised that I wasn't going to wait the 2-3 hours it would have taken for my number to come up. Ours is set up so you can do everything from the same attendant so we don't have to wait in different lines but it does make for lengthy waits. Went back a few days later and only waited about 10 minutes.

That's using your thinker. Somehow I have the best luck arriving 15 minutes before lunch. Our guys take a staggered lunch schedule so the window stays open; however, everyone avoids lunchtime because they know there are fewer workers then. Just knew that it was mid-month and every day after that till the 30th, lines get worse.
