Quick question-when embroidering on fleece do you use a cut-a-way or tear away stabilizer? Please someone answer ASAP. Thanks!

Used sticky tear away in the hope, so the project will not have to be hoped but it sticks on the tear away, and on top the wash away. Good luck with the project !!

I don't know if you remember all the initial fleece scarves I used to make. I used solvy or wss on the top and wash-a-way tear-a-way in the hoop. Spray and lay fleece on top and don't hoop because it will leave a hoop burn. I would run a whole load through the wash and dry at a time. Kay

Thanks Kay and I do remember all the scarves you made. I also remember how you helped me before. I did remember to use the WSS, but I had forgotten which one use underneath.

Thanks Doreen, that's just what I did. The set is in Projects as I just finished it.

I use WSS on top & Btm... I don't like the scratchy stabilizer hurting the baby, My opinion, for what it is worth... Hugs, judy...

I use cut away as well and have even used dressmakers interfacing but not the iron on type.

Use cut-away stabilizer. This is from Embroidery Library.

I did it just like they said. I forget they have those HELP tutorials there, for people like me who can't remember anymore!-lol-Check out my finish in Projects and thank you again for such a quick reply. I didn't have much time today, as I was canning and trying to sew.
