It's wonderful, but not as wonderful as you are Angie for doing this selfless act. I love that the fabrics represent the differences socially and racially in us all, but come together to make a powerful and beautiful statement as we rally around with support. (At least that's what I see when I look at it.)

There is a group here in UK which is sending quilts to all of the victims of the recent terrorist attacks in London and Manchester. Quilters are mostly like you, wherever they are.
