Six weeks, new knee. I'm still working on some issues in Physical Therapy, but just got a good progress report from doctor. Stepped v-e-r-y carefully down into the daylily garden to see today's blooms, which were outstanding. However, we have had a huge amount of rain and what's really colorful is the mushrooms everywhere: peach (ruffled), orange, bright red, coral, tan, beige, grey, gold and yellow-green. One white with big brown dots had burst through layers and layers of mulch and straw on a path to show off!

Great news on your knee. Christie is doing well with her knees, which is amazing! I would love to see a pic of your mushrooms, they sound delightful. I wonder if any are edible. I once went mushroom hunting with the Grandmother and only found inedible ones.

I don't know enough about them to not poison myself eating wild mushrooms! I do toss them into the compost eventually.

What a sweet reward to receive and a good report from PT too. Enjoy the beauty and keep getting good reports.

Glad that you had good news from the doctor. The " mushroom garden" sounds lovely. DebB

They're everywhere - in the grass, the daylilies, the mulch, next to the brick path...
