Yesterday brought another bit of thanksgiving and joy. Kathie was able to sit in a chair for a few minutes. Baby steps forward but each one, no matter how small, is a win. Thank you for all your prayers and messages of support. Teresa

You Cuties can not begin to understand how much your concern, love and prayers have meant to me. It is so gratifying to know that there are prayers being offered all over the world for her struggle to recover. It is our faith that has brought her this far and will carry her the rest of the way.

Teresa, I am so happy and thankful, for even the smallest of steps forward. I know you appreciate hearing anything from them, but thrilled at any good news. I hope your SIL can take off work, as long as Kathie is there, and then bring her home with him. With Kathie to worry about, he doesn't need to worry about anything else.

Theresa, Prayers continuing that Kathie will continue to heal, such awesome news that she has regained consciousness and that now that she is now able to be up for short times in a chair. Hopefully her body will continue to fight off whatever it was that made her so ill, so suddenly while on your trip. Prayers for her and all the family members that they will have the strength and resources need to be with her or help her in whatever ways they are able, I'm so grateful her husband was able to get his passport to be able to go there to be with her as well as her daughter. All the family and friends must be struggling with all that has happened in the last couple of weeks. If she has a lap top there, you could likely get skype set up, or google has a similar free program so you could see her through the laptops camera.Thankful for the internet and phone accessibility that helps to keep families connected world wide. Praying they also figure out what was the trigger for all that happened to hopefully prevent Kathie from having a relapse or others from getting ill if it was something she was inadvertently exposed to in the families recent travels. Continuing prayers that she will continue to improve that she will be back in the states quickly and continue to gain her health back. Hugs for the immense stress and the blessed relief that all the Cuties can feel in your messages as you have shouldered the stress and worry in the last weeks.
