My husband thinks he has to interrupt for me to fix him something to eat, or to locate a pair of socks, or answer something that he easily knows he can do himself. It's like they turn into a toddler when attention isn't totally focused on themselves. I love my husband, we've been married for 35 years now, and I know I aggravate him. But still....
When I am in the middle of something my husband usually asks me to help him with his laptop 😄
I learned long ago if I don' t help him now, he'll screw it up and it will take me longer if I would've waited. And, I'll hear about it later. forever! lol. And because we love them.
If he is a tinkerer, he might think that you are bored and looking for something to do. He is trying to be helpful. lol
I've asked my hubby why he does the same thing, and it drives me crazy too. I do realize the male brain is wired differently but I want to believe he knows I love him enough to turn my attention on his wants and needs. And I wonder if he does it because he has missed me. I call it a compliment. But it still drives me crazy.
I have a theory about where my attention is focused......
