Carolyn, does your dealer offer the Service Maintenance Agreement? Now that they are repaired you may think you don't need it, but for I believe about $125 a year you can send it in and at least get it cleaned, oiled and adjusted. Of course this agreement is not supposed to cover COA, but my ladies say just make something up like tension is off so it will be covered. And while in the shop they always COA and update to the latest version. If you buy a 3 yr SMA, it costs a little less per yr. I found out about this with my Diamond. I broke a piece off trying to get the part that covers the thread area and the whole front fascia of the machine had to be replaced to the tune of $400. Now I keep my girls covered with the "insurance"! Hugs. Nan W

That is a great price for the repair of your two machines Carolyn, especially as you need a new mother board. I did my mother board also on the Husqvarna after only 2 years. I do hope you can get them back asap and that you are back sewing in no time. Love Chris

It sounds like a lot but if you had to replace them it would be a lot dearer. So not that bad if you look at it that way. Marian

Nice to know that they still make the mother boards for your machine. Some companies stop making these parts for a certain machine once the new model is released.
Your house will be neat & tidy ,with a list of embroidery items to do by the time the machines come home form their rest break.
