UPDATE

Well I guess I will be sewing all day today What a shame! NOT We are in the beginning of a blizzard this morning. The snow is going to last 12 hours. Winds are 50 MPH White out conditions. We are expecting 16 -20 inches of snow... Sigh... We are all home warm. All the schools are already closed and every business is closed also. We are hunkered down for the duration of the storm... I do not relish shoveling afterwards. In the mean time I will happily embroider...

UPDATE we ended up with 14 inches of snow. High winds and very cold temps. We are expecting more snow Saturday Sunday and Monday. Just a few inches every storm but it adds up on top of what we have already. Already shoveled and now it is icy. Not too many power outages around the state. That is a good thing.
I had a good day in my sewing room all day. Any day sewing is a good day! I plan on going in there again today. Thanks Suzanne!

We dress in layers to keep warm shoveling... Then Hot chocolate is so good when you come in and need to warm up.

You may keep all the snow . You don't need to worry about sharing. I am in Georgia and the trees all budding out and blooming. The jonquils are blooming. I am already suffering with my allergies with all the tree pollen. I thing it is going to freeze tonight , but warm up again tomorrow. This has been an unusual winter. Hope you don't loose your power. In the early 1980's my husband flew to Boston for a meeting that was to last for a few hours and stayed for days. He was able to check into a hotel but had no change of clothes. I think they named it the" Boston Blizzard". Kay

Wow neat story! I will gladly smell the flowers instead of looking at the snow. It has been an unusual winter. Yesterday was 60 degrees and today a blizzard. Got to love New England!

WOW! Suzanne, I hope that the snow doesn't interfere too much with your driveways and roads etc. Only seen snow a few times in my life and because I live on the East Coast of Australia we never get it here in Newcastle. We get the heat! I hope you have a great day sewing and keep warm. Love Chris

Practically the whole state is shut down except for essential people...We heed the warnings and stay In. But Oh the shoveling afterwards. Wow

When I lived in Michigan, I loved days like that! Gives you time to do the things you otherwise may not have time to do. Am looking forward to seeing what you finish today!

It makes me cold just thinking about it. You must have to stock up on everything, food & fabric, before winter sets in. I forget how far north you are......

IT is cold with the wind chills. We do stock up and we are prepared for storms like this. We are up near Boston Mass.

I hope you keep power for your embroidery machine - oh, and of course for your heater! Keep another sweater handy and have some hot chocolate for me. No snow here this winter. Almost no winter. January was like March. It's supposed to be near freezing in the morning and then back in the 70's the next day.

We have gas heat so we will not lose the power... Lucky you no snow. I wish we could get away with none. I don't like shoveling

My trade-off is I rake 11 months a year (not July). The young trees have still not released their leaves because - not enough cold nights! And the crabapples in town are in bloom. My daffodils are about to hit their peak.
