I feel your pain & can relate very well. Rest easy my friend. Prayers for you both, you can prop your leg on a pillow for added support when you sleep-~hugs~
Yay for no cast. Hope you are not too sore. Take care
try to take it easy, hope the brace will give you the support you need. Better than a cast ! be careful don't overdo, hugs Gerry
So glad you are back home...such a long distance to go to see your doctor...glad you did not have to have the case, but sorry about your ankle...be a good girl and wear the ankle brace...and try to take it easy on those walks...
yep i am being a gooddddddddddd girlllllllllllll hugs
As i live in the bush i drive miles to do anything but i am used to it so it is ok ***I dress warm and drive slow lol
Dear Carolyn, wow what an effort for you to get to your medical appointments!!! I'm so happy to see you in an ankle brace instead of those hard boots too.
Are you having the needles for treatment of carpal tunnel or RSI for your wrists? I do hope that your body heals quickly for you and that your walks with Mr Peeko will become more often.
Exercise is great for our bodies. Love Chris
Glad you are home from this round of doctors and with no cast on any of your extremities, at least at this point in time anyway! Is there any way to nutritionally address how to strengthen the ankle and the wrists or address what is the core issue causing the need for repeated castings? We will continue our prayers especially in light of next weeks liver appointment. Hopefully your heart and mind can be touched to have insight as to how to best help your body with all it has going on, and for the doctors to have wisdom and understanding of how they can best help you and more importantly for how you can best help your own body to improve. Looking at what the researchers are writing about in the journal of medicine for the conditions you have, may help you to know what you could be trying to do, in order to help your body. Prayers for you to have insight and understanding along with all the medical staff. Hugs aplenty too!
Next time you see that doctor, show him your improved ankle brace! I'm sure you will have ideas. When I tore my knee I was sold a $400 knee brace that would not stay in place to support the knee! (Of course, no guarantees or returns.) So glad you are safely home, with instructions. Sit and stitch, stitch and sit. And walk Peeko before he gets desperate.
I must have had the same knee brace. When you tried to walk it would slide down.
oh boy this one really is helping and it it don't here you can take it back***thanks
Carolyn, glad to hear you are back home safe and sound. It is a long trip and day for you both, but we do what we have to. I hope the double shot lasts double the time, and you are lucky not to have the cast again. You better try extra hard to be a good girl, and may be the support will also help you. Mr Peeko will love his extra outings and walks, but at this time of the year with all that snow around it must be difficult for you. Take care. Sandra. xxxxx
Wonderful no cast Carolyn. Hope the ankle brace helps. Hugs/Lillian
wHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR ANKLE? Sorry caps-I could have loaned you mine but I think yours is probably better than the one I had. I guess I missed your reports all around. Your 3 hour drive doubled and the time at the doctor must have been an all day trip. You must be a good driver in all that snow you have there. Wear your brace even though its a pain on & off. Hope all gets better soon. X&O's Toogie
I had ONE injection in my knee. Thought 'Oh Lord, what have I done? Have I made it worse by allowing this shot?' That was the initial day, after that, it started feeling better...hope you do too.
