The quilt look fabulous every single square is worth all the time and effort you put in to it. Congratulation on your wedding anniversary and hugs: Roberta
Trying to catch up on some I missed Chris. That quilt is going to be out of this world. Looks like you had a great anniv. also/Lillian
Happy Anniversary! We just celebrated our 40th on Jan24. Boy does time fly... I just love how your quilt is progressing. It is just fantastic!
Hugs, Nadyne
Happy Anniversary! I'm behind you--we'll celebrate our 35th next month. Your blocks look beautiful, and that bottle is so pretty too. Buying fabric is also wonderful. Sounds like a good day all around.
Thanks so much, happy anniversary to you too for next month. I haven't had any of the Gin yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Love Chris
Beautiful!!!Fantastic work done...Lots of work but Worth every stitch!!!Stunning
Love the quilt blocks! Wow, 6 hours each block! But worth it.
I didn't know 45 years of marriage was sapphire...I had better start the message now for my anniversary next year.
Happy Anniversary to you both!
No, the squares took 3 hours each! therefore 6 hours to do these ones (that particular design, as there were over 52,000 thousand stitches in it) Thanks for the anniversary wishes. Love Chris
First, Happy anniversary! 2nd, What a beautiful job you have done on these blocks. Such a treasure. I know how you feel about the fabric go ahead from your DH. Anytime mine says you need anything from the shop I never say no. Wish I could find a sewing room organizer person.
I get the entire house clean but can never keep this sewing room clean. But I am happiest in here with my clutter and mess. LOL!
Thanks Theresa, Trev knows what makes me happy! My room is very neat, so I'm fortunate in that sense. As you say though it's your happy place and as long as you are happy who cares what it looks like! Love Chris
the quilt looks stunning.. so worth the hours your putting into it! happy anniversary :) i would have also been happy with the fabric and gin :) as long as there's fabric!!! hope that you have managed to overcome the thread shredding issue
Good morning, yes, I hope so too. The threading issue has stopped, but for the life of me I don't know what was causing it. I did everything right that I was supposed to. Never mind, the machine is behaving itself and that's what counts. Love Chris
Quilt coming along nicely Chris! You and Trev are just a bit "older" than we are - our 45th is in March.
coming along really well Chris. 45years for us too [in Nov 2016] A v.long time sometimes and not so long at others haha!
Thanks Vicki, congratulations to you too. Not many of the younger ones last it out these days. I know there are quite a few on here who are well over the 50 year mark! I remember the day we got married it was 96F and the perspiration was dripping down both Trev's and my back. I didn't mind in those days living in Adelaide, but up here in Newcastle the humidity really gets to me! Love Chris
Hi Chris. Happy Anniversary and I hope you got some sapphire fabric, too!
Thanks Betsey, no I didn't get any Sapphire fabric, but some lovely navy and white cotton with little stars on it, some plain white cotton and some other white with a pattern. Love Chris
You have a ton of patience! 6 hours is a looooong time. However, it is worth every second you have spent on it. Your quilt is fabulous! I dream of doing something like this. Now that I see yours I feel like starting one.
Isn't it just? You will just have to give it a go. This one is particularly long as it's all embroidered! Love Chris
Happy anniversary!! many more also. Your quit is Turing out so wonderful!!!
Congrats on your anniversary... and that is sure a pretty bottle!
Love your quilt and I can't imagine the work that you are doing on it. The blocks are stunning and I'm sure the finished quilt will be as well.

Your quilt is coming along nicely! Congratulations on your Sapphire Anniversary! Kudos to Trev for suggesting you purchase more fabric...and if it isn't a real Sapphire stone, then I'll take the Sapphire Gin as a stand in any day!
Thanks Kim, isn't he a good man? And me too with regards to the Gin. Love Chris

Happy Late Anniversary. Nice work. Lots of time in this quilt. Keep up the good work.
Congratulations on your sapphire anniversary.
Your quilt is progressing nicely and looks absolutely stunning. How many more designs are there?
Thanks Martine. I've still got another 16 designs with the Navy and then I want to do some white squares with Navy stitching! A long time to go! Love Chris
Congratulations on your 45th anniversary Chris, well done. Love the sapphire gin bottle. Your quilt is coming along terrific, long hours of embroidery, but well worth the time it is taking, simply stunning. Sandra.
Thanks Sandra, yes, it's a milestone these days! I'm so glad that the machine is working well and I haven't been having as many breakages. The weather, as you know has been dreadful!!!! Love Chris
Congratulations on your anniversary.
Loving the look of your quilt with the blocks together
