I've put a query in Q & A, and it should have been in this section. Can someone check it out please as I really can't re-write it, poor vision!

This could be a property issue. One of windows upgrades changed my embroidery files to be opened by another program which made them look strange. Try this.
Right click on one of your embroidery files and then choose "open with".
PEDesign should be listed. Hope this helps

Hi, thanks for replying. My son has sorted it for me, it would appear that when Windows upgrade, Brother don't! It's a con to get you to spend a lot of money buying the newest software! So what I am doing is to rename all the designs I want to keep, so when the purple flower comes up, it will say "birds" instead of a number, and that will save giving me an outsize headache!! It cost me nearly a thousand pounds to buy PEDesign Next. And I'm not doing that again! Thanks for your help anyway.

I have copied Pat's query for her:

Hi Cuties, I haven't been around for some time, had an eye operation last November, and until the other eye is operated on, vision is pretty poor. But I have a problem with PEDesign Next, I used to be able to click on a file, and all the designs would appear in picture, all I get now is a purple flower, and it takes ages to find a design I want. Anybody else had this trouble?
