Just pace yourself so you can get it all downloaded and filed before your membership expires. I was still madly downloading as my time expired. Membership is the easiest way to go, if the persons budget will allow, as you then do not need to worry about forgetting to download the daily gifts, as well as getting the designs that are not made available to get through voting.
