Very sad indeed. Like you I also think they use mental illness as an excuse. I also hope they throw away the key when and if he goes to jail, I may seem harsh but people like him are a waste of space.
52676I can never understand why these terrible things happen anywhere in a beautiful world, Sadly the little 3 yr old passed away overnight. The driver had stabbed his Brother & assaulted his Mother in the morning. I'm guessing he will get some reduced sentence due to mental illness & I know this an awful thing to suffer with but I sometimes wonder if it's just an excuse for some people

This individual had also been involved in something like a stabbing earlier in the day. Drugs and mental issue were mentioned.
Hopefully this is not an excuse that will get him a light sentence. One of his victims was a baby in a pram.

Prayers for all of those who have died and their families. Also prayers for the many injured in hospital. A sad day for Australia and only a week away from the national holiday. ❤️ Chris
