interesting as I don't think that I have heard of scones made with lemonade.
Fellow Cutie Babash shared the recipe on here.
3 cups self-rising flour
1 cup cream
1 cup lemonade
I hope you don't live in Australia because at the moment because we are having dreadful heat and high humidity! Good luck with your next batch and I agree with Barbara below. Don't roll the dough out just press with hands and use scone cutters or different shapes if so desired. Please post your next batch! Love Chris
You girls be careful about giving out recipes or I'll have to teach you what to cook for a Southern wedding!
I don't know about a Southern Wedding but I love Southern food so I'm open to any lessons. LOL.

Hi Chris, hope you coped o.k yesterday, I know I didn't. Had to go to Dubbo (1 1/2 hr drive each way) to eye specialist & A/C in the car couldn't handle it either so I ended up pretty ill yesterday but today is a bit better at the moment, early morning though.

The Scone dough will be a bit sticky but you put some flour on a board and on your hands. Put dough on board press down to about an inch or so high and use a round cookie cutter or small drinking glass to cut rounds. Place on tray and bake in oven at about 200deg for 12 or so minutes ( depending on your oven)
Don't roll dough out flat if you do they will be like pancakes.
Seeing as the taste was there it is just the presentation you need to work on. Search Lemonade Scones and you will see recipes come up with pictures of what the end results should look like.
I think I didn't sprinkle enough flour on the board, because it patted down just right, but it was too sticky on the bottom too use any cutter so I just pinched globs of dough. They were ugly but tasted good.
