Our oldest son (Henry's father) just told us that he will be deployed in January to Iraq for 10 months. How can I hold my breath that long? Please keep him, his wife and sweet son in your prayers. I cannot hardly think about it without tears forming in my eyes. I know to put him in God's hands, but it is so scary. Your works, advice and prayers are so appreciated. Hugs and love, Laura

From my heart, I want to thank my Cute friends for their inspiring words. When I get overwhelmed I am reminding myself of Rescuer's words, "choose faith not fear". I shall reread each of your responses each day - you need to know how much I appreciate your words, advice and prayers!! Heartfelt thanks, Laura

Laura, I agree with rescuer, choose faith to cling too. As a wife whose husband deployed, I understand your worry. You concentrate on his wife and your grandson. They will need your support too. Together you can be strong and uphold him in prayer. And don't hesitate to turn to our Cute family. It's the Cuties who carried me through my husband's last deployment. You are not alone and you know there will be hundreds of prayers, millions if you hear all of the folks praying all over the world, for all of our military members who are deployed. Hugs to you and never hesitate to PM me any time. And please breathe!

Oh! my goodness Laura, my heart goes out to you and your family. I will certainly ask for your son to be completely covered by God's loving arms and grace. May you be comforted knowing that your son is in His hands and that your precious grandson and daughter in law will be watched over as well! Love Chris

Laura, you will not be able to breathe. You will pray for him every time he goes through your mind. That's where your breath will come from. Know that you and the rest of his family will be on our hearts until you tell us he is once again home safe. Please give him my undying gratitude for his willingness to serve and keep us safe.
Psalm 23
Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul:
He guideth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; for thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou hast anointed my head with oil;
My cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life;
And I shall dwell in the house of Jehovah forever.

You and your family will be in my prayers. I was going to ask for your son's name, but then I reminded myself that I don't need to know his name--God knows already.

I will pray for you and for him as well as his family. You all will be included in our daily prayers.
I have to remind myself daily that I can choose faith or fear. I know my children are His children. I know he loves each of us and He knows our needs. God's love is perfect! His love for our children is greater than we could imagine.
May you all be blessed

Your words, "choose fair or fear" really hit home. Fear is so paralyzing! Thank you!!
